A new dance group starts in Ithaca beginning Tuesday August 28. The English Country Dancers of Ithaca will be dancing every second and fourth Tuesday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Lifelong Senior Center, Court Street in Downtown Ithaca. Join us for beautiful country dancing that will remind you of Sense and Sensibility, and more aerobic dancing to surprise you, all done to wonderful music. Bring a friend, bring a partner or come on your own. All dances are taught. Teachers will include Connie Lambert and DeeGee Gowan. Everyone, young and older are welcome. Soft shoes recommended. A nominal fee is charged to cover rental costs.
