Bob Dalsemer will teach Contra, Squares, and Mountain couple dances
Bob Dalsemer is one of today's preeminent callers of traditional American contra, square and related dances. An author as well as a caller, he has published several books about traditional square dances, and is the composer of a number of new dances in traditional style that have become modern classics. Often a leader behind the scenes (in Baltimore, Washington, Brasstown, NC, and nationally as the former president of The Country Dance and Song Society), Bob knows more about traditional dance than almost anyone. Best of all, his teaching and calling are engaging, thoughtful, and just plain fun! This is Bob’s first engagement at Oquaga.
